Moonshine

moonshine, a lullaby for children who can't sleep at night

i don't really remember much about the origins of this song other than it's from 2008.

i had always thought of it as a drinking song, but then my niece heard it and really liked it (good kid) and so now it's a children's song. but secretly it's really a drinking song. for children. so if you're having any trouble sleeping at night, listen to it, or do some drinking. i find that greater quantities make sleep easier.
the original 2008 song had an a capella chorus because my egocentric self needed to hear 7 of my voices. it sounded like angels from heaven, but since i'm working on my egocentricity these days, i cut that out and let my brother get a slice of the action. i doubt i can find the original, but if i do, maybe i'll put it up here.
sometimes i think our harmonies sound way off, but i don't care. being a pro is for the birds. i do rhythm and made up some tomfoolery on organ and piano and jerry does everything else that makes it sound good.
